Chateau Les Millaux 2016
- Merlot,Cabernet Franc
Dark purple color, purple reflections. Pleasant nose evoking plum, blackcurrant, fine spices and a roasted note. On the palate, fullness, suave, succulent, energized by a welcome freshness. Plant presence well balanced with evolution.- Winemaker's Notes
Château Les Millaux is located in the north of Libournais, a neighbor of great appellations such as Fronsac or Lalande de Pomerol.
This estate has belonged to the Bellot family since 1925 and three generations have succeeded each other in the service of a constant evolution of quality, both in the vineyard and in the vinification.
All the typical Bordeaux grape varieties are present in our farm (Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon).
From the vineyard to the cellar, we rigorously respect the rules of tradition such as long fermentation, maceration, extraction of the desired tannins, etc ...
Very fruity and very supple, our wines can be consumed quickly, but they are also excellent wines to keep. Scents of exotic fruits and red fruits enliven the complexity of the bouquet. All these characteristics make it a wine to be consumed preferably with red meats and grilled meats.
