Description

Sycamore Lane Cabernet Sauvignon was produced primarily from grapes grown in the Lodi area, California’s fastest-growing premium wine-growing region. The wine was fermented for a week at 85 degrees Fahrenheit and after settling and racking, was aged for approximately one year in a combination of new and used American oak tanks and casks prior to bottling. Unlike many California Cabernet Sauvignon producers, Sycamore Lane produces a smooth, easy drinking style of Cabernet designed to be enjoyable upon release.

Sycamore Lane California Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an enticing aroma of fresh red cherries and sweet oak vanilla with a hint of varietal herbal tones. The medium-bodied, juicy, cherry-like flavors are supported and enhanced by moderate tannins and a toasty wood character. This graceful, flavorful Cabernet Sauvignon can be enjoyed now and makes an enjoyable accompaniment to roast chicken, steaks, roasts, lamb, game and mildly seasoned pastas.- Winemaker's Notes
