Description

The 2018 Pinot Noir Fog Eater is soft, pliant and wonderfully inviting. Succulent red/purplish berry fruit, mint, spice and floral notes all meld together, with bright saline notes that add energy as well as tension. One of the more approachable wines in the range today, the Fog Eater is absolutely exquisite. Drinking window from 2020 - 2028. - VAG93

Warm baking-spice aromas and ripe, almost jammy fruit flavors come together nicely in this medium- to full-bodied wine. It offers delicious strawberry and red cherry at first, before revealing darker fruit flavors on the palate and finish. - WE93

The Winery

Jason and Molly Drew started Drew eighteen years ago with a clear goal in mind: to craft small lot coastal wines that express site specificity and traditional varietal character. While the beginnings of Drew began in the Santa Rita Hills AVA in 2000, they transplanted their small operation to the Mendocino Coast in 2005 to establish their estate ranch and winery.

Chateau Troplong Mondot

The dark, savory, earthy and plum aromas plus the serious tannins here give this wine a lot of character, but it really needs a couple of years to open up. The finish packs a big tannic punch. For the long term. Try...

Alluring, with Lapsang souchong notes that weave around the core of gently steeped red and black currant and plum fruit flavors. A strong graphite edge marks the finish, giving this excellent cut and drive. Very...
