Sambuca del Chiostro is a sweet and strong liqueur, whose base is made of essential oils extracted through the steam distillation of the star anise seeds, adding a concentrated solution of sugar and other natural aromas.
The recipe, which was called Anisette in our recipes books of the last Century, is still made according to the original formula.
